Our objective is to give customers a fair opportunity to correct errors while ensuring production proceeds smoothly once it begins. The guidelines below explain exactly when and how changes may be requested, so there are no surprises.

The 4-Hour Adjustment Window

Customers are provided a strict 4-hour window from the time an order is placed to request any modification or cancellation. This is the only period during which changes are permitted.

During these initial 4 hours, the order is briefly held to allow customers time to review and correct details if necessary.
Once the 4-hour window expires, the order is automatically released into production and becomes final, at which point no changes can be made.

Changes Allowed Within the 4-Hour Window

Within the 4-hour adjustment period, customers may request the following updates:

Size changes
Color or style modifications
Corrections to custom text or personalization
Replacement of uploaded images or design files
Changes to product type or quantity
Full order cancellation
Shipping address updates

Why the 4-Hour Window Is Strict

Production preparation begins immediately after the holding period ends. This process may include reviewing design files, finalizing personalization details, setting up printing or engraving instructions, allocating inventory, and scheduling the order in the production queue.

Once these steps begin, modifying or canceling an order can lead to production delays, workflow disruptions, or material waste. For this reason, the 4-hour policy is enforced consistently for all customers.

How to Request a Change or Cancellation

If you need to make a change, time is critical. Email is the fastest and most reliable method for urgent requests.

Please send your request immediately to support@cowboybest.com.

For fastest processing, use the subject line:
“URGENT: Order [Your Order Number] Change or Cancellation”

Your message must include:

Your full name
The email address used at checkout
Your order number
A clear and specific description of the requested change

Examples of clear requests include:

Please change the size from Medium to Large.
Please cancel my entire order.
Please update the shipping address to the following.
I uploaded the wrong image and would like to replace it with the attached file.

Requests received after the 4-hour window will be declined, as the order will already be in production.

No Changes After the 4-Hour Window

Once the 4-hour adjustment period has passed, the order is locked and cannot be modified or canceled. This includes, but is not limited to, size changes, design updates, custom text edits, image replacements, order cancellations, or address changes.

This policy ensures fast fulfillment, operational consistency, and fairness to all customers.

Customer Responsibility for Address Accuracy

Customers are fully responsible for entering an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout. This includes verifying street details, apartment or unit numbers, city, state, ZIP code, and correct spelling.

The address must also be recognized by standard carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.

Consequences of Incorrect Address Information

If a delivery fails due to incorrect or incomplete address information, the customer will be responsible for any re-shipping costs.

Common delivery issues may include insufficient address details, missing unit numbers, unrecognized addresses, or recipient relocation.

If tracking confirms delivery to the address provided at checkout, Cowboybest is not responsible for replacements or refunds, and the order will be considered fulfilled.
